New tendances at Milano Unica fall-winter 2010/11
Las week took place as every season, Milano Unica fair in the centre of Milan, which is a fabrics and accessories fair. Unfortunately it’s not allowed to take pictures of trend presentations, so i can only tell what I saw there.
Jewellery detais: Baroque mood, cashmere prints, swarovski applications
Most viewed colors: Red and claret, gold, prune/aubergine violet, metallic grey.
Most viewed materials: Chantilly laces, gold leafs printed knitwear, spangles sewn or embroiderered laces, squared and rounded studs applied on materials so close to each others that looked like an armour, devorè velvet.
Exclusive abstract: Maxi prints, flowers an geometric prints.
Most viewed colors: Aubergine violet, claret, shocking pink
Most viewed materials: Matted knit, cotton cloth, cotton jersey, raw-wool, waxed fabrics.
Techno Handcraft: Materials with plastic threads
Most viewed colors: Black, blue, light violet, fuxia, optical white.
Most viewed materials: Embossed materials, taffetàs, synthetic fabrics.
Shadows & Mistery: Dark colors, darkness shadows
Most viewed colors: Gray and brown.
Most viewed materials: Taffetàs, Matted knit, plastified laces, printed fabrics.
Layering: Most of this panel was dedicated to duvets
Most viewed colors: Any sort of brown,and gray.
Most viewed materials: Duvets with knitted lining, embossed fabrics and Matted knit.
Graphic sequeces: Optical sensation, geometrical embroideries, circle drawings
Most viewed colors: Black, grey , white and blue.
Most viewed materials: Tecnic and synthetic fabrics, salt and pepper, twill weave, maxi hound’s-tooth cloth.
Moorlands: A coutryside mood
Most viewed colors: Any kind of brown,orange, dark red.
Most viewed materials: Prince of wales fabric, velvet, scottish fabrics.
Fur: The real protagonist of fall winter 2010
Most viewed colors: All sort of brown, cream, beige.
Most viewed materials: Any sort of synthetic fur, ram, mink etc…
Intimist spirit:
Most viewed colors: Cream, any sort of light pink, white, light gray, turtle dove gray
Most viewed materials: Cotton jersey, thin knit (Like underwear)
Androgynous state: For any woman how likes man wardrobe
Most viewed colors: Blue, gray, aubergine violet.
Most viewed materials: Prince of wales (fabric), tartans, scottish fabrics, Matted knit and waxed fabrics (very rigid hand), printed velvet with micro jaquards.
Fairy tale vision: Romantics sensation
Most viewed colors: White, lillac, light blue, cream.
Most viewed materials: Embroidered laces, white/cream fur, pompom, emroiderd gold/silver fabrics.
Light flash: Agrssive and sparkling mood, tecno, disco dance
Most viewed colors: Any sort of gray,black, white.
Most viewed materials: Leaf materials & fabrics, synthetic fabrics, embossed fabrics.
